Betsy began her singing
career about thirty years ago as a singer in a Mexican restaurant in
Olympia, Washington. Though she has come and gone from Olympia since, she
lives in that area at present and considers it her permanent
home. Betsy has worked in variety of musical settings: from duos and trios to
larger Andean music groups and community choirs. In 1997 she found her
ultimate musical and life partner, Eric Miller. Eric is a master guitar
player and an excellent vocalist - together they have developed a folk,
roots and eclectic musical repertoire including original music, as well as
several covers. Their performances are characterized by interactive
guitar parts and rich vocal harmonies.
| Betsy's first full
length recording, Down to Earth, has gotten excellent reviews. It is a
mix of philosophical, poetic and humorous lyrics, performed and recorded
with great care to create a highly enjoyable album of folk style music. |
